When the rainstorm hit the city, Huaxun team responded

6 On the 24th of the month, Changsha was hit by a rare heavy rainfall. During the hour from 9:00 to 10:00, the precipitation reached as high as 65.1 millimeters, breaking the record for single hour precipitation in June, and the total hourly precipitation soared to 768 million cubic meters - equivalent to the water volume of 54 West Lakes. The entire subway lines 2 and 3 have been shut down, and many urban roads and residential areas have been submerged by water. On the same day, the city's road rescue resources were severely lacking, and a rescue company had a backlog of over 100 orders. Upon learning of this situation, the Huaxun rescue team urgently deployed rescue vehicles and rushed to various disaster stricken areas. It is worth mentioning that one of the rescue vehicles, which had just returned from the emergency support in Guilin, was directly put into the rescue work in Changsha without time to rest.

Yuelu District Nanfeng Port Area

The heavy rainfall in Haojiaxing Yafu Community, Huangxing Town, Changsha County caused rainwater to flow back into the underground parking lot of the community, flooding dozens of private cars. The Huaxun rescue team dispatched one 500 type drainage and rescue pickup truck, which operated continuously for 46 hours and discharged a total of 24000 cubic meters of water.

Starry Night Rescue Zhuzhou

6 On the evening of the 26th, the Huaxun rescue team received an emergency notice from the flood control department of Zhuzhou City - due to severe water accumulation in the Baishigang Road railway culvert area of Shifeng District, the road has been cut off and vehicles and pedestrians cannot pass through. The rescue team immediately activated the emergency plan and dispatched one 4800 type high flow drainage rescue vehicle to the disaster site overnight. The rescue team quickly arrived despite heavy rain and late night cold, immediately starting the drainage system and using multiple pumps for pumping operations. After 12 hours of uninterrupted operation, the water level dropped by 1.8 meters and the cumulative drainage reached 50000 cubic meters. It is expected to be open to traffic by noon on the same day.
