Disaster raid, take action upon hearing the order
2024 On the afternoon of July 5th, a breach occurred in the embankment along the Dongting Lake in Tuanzhou, Huarong County, Hunan Province. On the evening of July 8th, the breakthrough successfully closed the dragon. However, more than 200 million cubic meters of accumulated water in the embankment still need to be drained. Disaster is an order, and drainage work immediately begins. The Ministry of Emergency Management and the Hunan Provincial Emergency Management Department have dispatched more than 50 professional rescue teams and over 1000 sets of emergency drainage equipment for 24-hour uninterrupted rescue.
After receiving the emergency dispatch order from the Hunan Provincial Emergency Management Department, the Hunan Provincial Flood Control and Drought Relief Emergency Rescue Huaxun Team immediately responded. Three 4800 type high flow drainage vehicles and two support vehicles were dispatched early to assist the team in Zhouyuan. Peng Bo and his team of 15 people quickly arrived at the rescue site. The Huaxun team, who had just returned from the emergency rescue in Xiangyin, did not take time to rest. After counting their equipment, they rushed to the front line of the Huarong emergency rescue.

After 28 days of fierce fighting, technology has assisted in drainage. The Huaxun team is a provincial-level professional rescue team established by Hunan Huaxun Emergency Equipment Co., Ltd. In this flood relief operation in Tuanzhouyuan, the Huaxun team deployed nearly 150 sets of drainage equipment to participate in the flood control. A total of 185 Huaxun drainage equipment have arrived at the front line of disaster relief on site. The Huaxun team deployed three 4800 type high flow drainage vehicles on site, which are multifunctional emergency rescue vehicles integrating power generation, lighting, drainage, water supply, and obstacle clearance. The vehicle is equipped with a self-developed portable high flow drainage pump, with a single pump displacement of 600 cubic meters per hour, a head of up to 50 meters, and a weight of only 30 kilograms. It can be manually transported and operated. The vehicle also has an independent 300 kW high-power power supply capability and is equipped with 2 sets of high pole lighting fixtures, which can illuminate an area as large as two football fields, ensuring night work lighting.
To ensure uninterrupted and stable operation of the equipment 24 hours a day, the Huaxun team has established a 15 person technical support team to provide 24-hour technical support for all drainage equipment on a two shift basis. Three after-sales service guarantee vehicles are fully committed to ensuring the operation of equipment and providing fast on-site after-sales service. The Huaxun team also set up an on-site maintenance team of more than 20 people and multiple maintenance service points. The team members braved the scorching heat of over 40 ℃ every day and walked several kilometers to inspect the equipment on the dam, quickly moving to solve problems. After 28 days and nights of arduous struggle, the Huaxun team has pumped out over 90 million cubic meters of water, making outstanding contributions to the drainage work of the Tuanzhou embankment.

7 On the 30th of the month, as the drainage work was basically completed, the Huarong County Tuanzhouyuan Flood Control and Rescue Command awarded the Huaxun team with an honorary banner. The golden characters on the banner that read 'Fearless of difficulties in disaster relief, bravely leading the way in the face of danger' express the high recognition of the command center for the Huaxun team.
It is the mission of the Hunan Provincial Flood Control and Drought Relief Emergency Rescue Huaxun Team to move forward in the face of danger and fully protect the safety of people's lives and property. Since its establishment, the Huaxun team has participated in more than 30 emergency rescue and flood control operations, including the Shouguang drainage rescue in Shandong and the Zhengzhou rescue in Henan. It has received multiple commendations from the Ministry of Emergency Management, local governments in Shandong and Henan provinces.
